About Arthritis Broadcast Network

About Arthritis Consumer Experts
Arthritis Consumer Experts is a national organization that provides free, science-based information and education programs in both official languages to people with arthritis. ACE serves people living with all forms of arthritis by helping them take control of their disease and improve their quality of life through education and empowerment.
Founded and led by people with arthritis, ACE also actively advocates on arthritis health and policy issues, through ACE’s JointHealth™ family of programs and the Arthritis Broadcast Network, directly to consumers/patients, health care professionals, media and government. ACE is guided by a strict set of guiding principles, set out by an advisory board comprised of leading scientists, medical professionals and informed arthritis consumers.
Arthritis Consumer Experts and its team members acknowledge that they gather and work on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples - xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
About Arthritis Research Canada
Arthritis Research Canada is the largest clinical arthritis research centre in North America, with centres in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, and Nova Scotia and affiliated to six major Canadian universities. Led by Scientific Director, Dr. Diane Lacaille – Arthritis Research Canada is currently conducting over 100 studies. Their research is aimed at preventing arthritis, facilitating early diagnosis, finding new and better treatments, and improving quality of life for more than 6 million Canadians, of all ages, living with arthritis.
Arthritis Research Canada’s mission is to transform the lives of people living with arthritis through research and engagement. Their world-class, multi-disciplinary team approaches their research from the specialities of: rheumatology, orthopedics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pharmacy, rehabilitation science, public health, epidemiology, health psychology and behavioural change, health economics, health systems assessment, biostatistics, education, pediatrics, and knowledge translation.
