Dr. Lacaille urges others to use their voice and actions to dismantle the inequities that exists in the interaction between health care providers and patients.  Dr. Lacaille is the Scientific Director and Senior Scientist at Arthritis Research Canada; as well as a Professor, Division of Rheumatology, at the University of British Columbia, in Vancouver. She holds the Mary Pack Chair in Rheumatology Research from UBC and The Arthritis Society of Canada.
