Dr. Bindee Kuriya is an Assistant Professor in Rheumatology at the University of Toronto, and her main interest is the evaluation of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) outcomes. She is a principal member of the Cardio Rheum Program at the University of Toronto that is aimed at primary prevention of CVD for patients with inflammatory arthritis.
Dr. Kuriya, along with fellow colleagues, led an important and insightful conversation “Matters of the Heart: Improving the Screening and Management of Cardiovascular Risk Factors and Disease in the Rheumatology Setting” at the Canadian Rheumatology Association Conference.
