#ArthritisAtHome Episode 2: Caring for your joints during #COVID19 with Dr. Jackie Whittaker

The second episode of #ArthritisAtHome features Dr. Jackie Whittaker. She shares her insights on how to care for your joints during #COVID19. Dr. Whittaker will also be demonstrating some of the exercises we can do to take care of the joints in our lower extremity while working at home. #WellnessWednesday

Dr. Whittaker is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy, at the University of British Columbia and is recognized as a Clinical Specialist in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association/Association canadienne de physiothérapie. She is a Research Scientist of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation at Arthritis Research Canada. She completed her BScPT degree at the University of Alberta, PhD in Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation at the University of Southampton (UK) and a post-doctoral fellowship supported by an Alberta Innovates Health Solutions Clinician Fellowship in injury prevention and epidemiology at the University of Calgary. She has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy and Research Director of the Glen Sather Sports Medicine Clinic at the University of Alberta.
